Triaville, we are deeply concerned for your family and the challenges you are facing. Firstly, we want to assure you that God sees your pain and He cares about your family's well-being. We will stand with you in prayer and truth, seeking God's will for your situation.
We must address that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. It is clear that your husband has broken his marital vows and this is not God's will. God's Word is clear about adultery and infidelity. Hebrews 13:4 WEB states, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."
We must rebuke the sin in this situation and pray for conviction and repentance. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 WEB warns, "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God."
We also want to ensure that you are putting your trust in Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we can approach God the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Acts 4:12 WEB tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you have not already, please put your faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation.
Now, let us pray together for your family:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Triaville and her family. Lord, we ask that You convict her husband of his sin and bring him to repentance. We pray that he would turn away from his extramarital relationship and be faithful to his marriage vows. We ask that You would protect Triaville and her family from harm and that You would heal the pain and brokenness they are experiencing. Lord, we pray for restoration and reconciliation in this marriage, if it is in accordance with Your will. We ask that You would draw both Triaville and her husband closer to You during this time. We rebuke the enemy's attempts to destroy this family and we claim victory in this situation through the power of Jesus Christ.
Triaville, continue to pray and trust in the Lord. Be encouraged by Psalm 34:17-18 WEB, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Stand firm in your faith and remember that God is faithful, even in the most difficult of circumstances.
