We are with you, Janice, in lifting up your mother Virginia to our loving Father in heaven. First, let us address the concern that God may not be listening. Be assured, Janice, that God hears every prayer of His children. As it is written in 1 Peter 3:12 (WEB), "For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears open to their prayer; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister Janice and her mother Virginia to You. Lord, You know Virginia's health issues, especially her mental struggles. We ask for Your healing touch on her mind and body. Surround her with Your peace and comfort, and give her strength to endure.
Father, we also pray for Janice. Lord, reassure her of Your unfailing love and presence. Help her to trust in Your goodness and faithfulness, even in this difficult time. Remind her that Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9, WEB).
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray for wisdom for the doctors and caretakers involved in Virginia's life. Guide them to provide the best care for her. We also pray for Janice and her family, that You would fill them with Your patience, understanding, and hope.
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your will and Your timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Janice, remember that even when it feels like God is not listening, He is always there. Trust in Him, for He cares for you and Virginia (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Continue to pray and intercede for your mother, and we will join you in this.
If you ever feel like giving up remember Galatians 6:9 (WEB), "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up." Keep holding on to God's promises and keep praying.
Lastly, be encouraged by the words of Jesus in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
