We understand your concern for your niece's feelings and your desire to maintain a strong relationship with her. Let us first assure you that your decision to not attend the wedding does not mean you love her any less. In all things, we should seek God's will and trust in His plan.
Firstly, we would like to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is only through Him that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up BlessedChristian and their niece. Lord, we ask for Your peace and understanding to fill their hearts. Comfort Katie, Lord, and help her to understand that her aunt's decision is not a reflection of her love for her. Bless her wedding day, Lord, let it be filled with love, joy, and happiness. May her marriage be strong and blessed, built on the foundation of Your love and guidance. Lord, we also ask that You provide opportunities for them to reconnect, to have meaningful conversations, and to see each other again. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
In regard to your niece's marriage, we pray that it will be a union that honors God, as described in Ephesians 5:22-33, where husbands and wives submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. Remember, God's design for marriage is a beautiful picture of Christ's love for the church.
Lastly, trust in the Lord's timing for reconnecting with your niece. As it says in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Keep praying and trusting in Him.
