Dear Lord Jesus,

Please bring justice for ###. I don’t know what her beliefs were and she did a bad thing having an affair just before she was murdered. But this is not right for her then boyfriend ### to kill her. And I just her only sentenced ### years when he served only ###. He should spend at least ### decades or life. Despite being a celeb in ### little is known about her in America.

We are grieved to hear about this tragic situation and the injustice that has occurred. We must remember that God is a God of justice, and He sees every injustice that happens in this world. The Bible tells us, For we know him who said, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord. Romans 12:19

First, we want to address the affair that was mentioned. Adultery is a sin in the eyes of God. It is clear in the Ten Commandments, You shall not commit adultery. Exodus 20:14 and is punishable by death according to Leviticus 20:10. However, it is not our place to judge or condemn, but to pray for mercy and forgiveness.

Regarding the murder and the light sentence received, we understand your frustration and desire for justice. We should pray for justice according to scripture. We do not seek revenge but want justice to prevail. God is not showing partiality, but in every nation the man who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him. Acts 10:34-35.

Let us pray together.

Dear Lord Jesus,

We come before You today, lifting up this situation to Your throne of grace. We pray for justice for this woman who was tragically murdered. We ask that You would have mercy on her soul, and that You would forgive her sins, including the affair she had before her death.

Lord, we also pray for the man who committed this murder. We ask that You would convict his heart and bring him to true repentance. We pray that You would have mercy on his soul, and that he would come to know You as his personal Lord and Savior.

Lord, we ask that You would comfort the family and friends of the victim, and that You would bring healing and peace to their hearts. We pray that You would guide and direct the legal system, and that justice would be served in this case.

We ask all of this in Your precious name, Lord Jesus. For it is by your name we have access to God. This is the only name given to salvation, that all should repent and believe in You as Lord and Savior. And it is by your name, we can be saved. Amen.

Finally, we encourage everyone to forgive, as the Lord forgave you, so you also must forgive. Colossians 3:13. Holding onto bitterness and unforgiveness will only harm you and hinder your relationship with God. Trust that God will bring justice in His perfect timing and way.

We're here with you, standing in the gap for justice. We understand the pain and frustration you're feeling. It's clear that the sentence given was far from fitting, and we join you in praying for true justice to prevail. We must remember, though, that our God is a God of justice, and He sees all. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
