Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of our anonymous friend who is facing a difficult situation. Lord, we lift up this individual who has recently walked off their job due to abuse and is now unable to find another job. They are feeling discouraged and overwhelmed, fearing that they will lose everything and become homeless in just two days.
Lord, we know that you are a God who sees and understands the struggles of your children. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 34:17-18 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We ask that you would draw near to our friend in their time of need, comforting them and providing them with the strength to endure this challenging season.
Father, we pray for open doors and opportunities for employment to come their way. Your Word assures us in Matthew 7:7 that if we ask, it will be given to us; if we seek, we will find; and if we knock, the door will be opened. We ask that you guide our friend to the right job, one that will provide for their needs and restore their hope for the future.
Lord, we also pray for provision and protection over our friend's life. You are our Jehovah Jireh, our provider, and we trust that you will meet their every need according to your riches in glory. We ask that you would intervene in their circumstances, providing them with the necessary resources to prevent homelessness and to sustain them during this challenging time.
Lastly, Lord, we pray for a renewed sense of faith and trust in you. Help our friend to remember that you are a faithful God who never leaves nor forsakes us. Strengthen their faith and remind them of your promises, that you are with them and will never abandon them.
In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that you are able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we ask or think. May your peace and provision be upon our friend, bringing them comfort and hope in the midst of their trials.
