Beloved of All
Just sharing--but with the Christian views on some issues in politics coming up near, at, and in the aftermath of. the election, and with, from what I hear and also the posts I see--most Christians do stay away from the candidate that's openly promoting unGodly causes, abortion, gay "marriage", etc. However, I see {praise God, looks like a minority} a few "Christians" who back and defend the candidate who back those things. But on this Christian radio show I was listening to on the car radio, one lady summed it up,"If some {even Christians} if they back them and their vote helps get them in, they share some guilt because it's almost like"enabling" , and making it easier for the ones commiting those sins, used the term they're complicit in it.I think that was a good way of putting it. I agree. "You must choose this day between death and life.""To be free from spot or blemish from the world."P.S. I also see that they'll get angry with the other Christians who explain why they don't vote so, and give the ones into the sinful thing a"defense",while "knocking" the other Christians.A little upside down, no?

Brother I choose Jesus, our Way, our Truth, and our Life. All the chaos that's going on, it's a good thing I know how it ends...God wins!
God's mercy covers a multitude of sins through genuine repentance, which includes abortion. Just look at all the sins committed by King David. My point, there's no one under the sun that is perfect. King David was not perfect and many other leaders in the bible were not. Their followers were not perfect.
A sin of anykind is like an arrow missing its mark. Whether an inch away or miles from the target, it is still a sin. I may have had a successful string of bullseyes in my life like participating in building a Christian Life Center as an alternative to abortion, and participated in a anti-abortion demonstration that saw Canadians and Americans joining hands over an International bridge, but if today I have one arrow off target, those good deeds of the past will not cleanse my sin I have today. I'm still a sinner. Only genuine repentance to God will make amends. I don't endorse any sin of anykind but there lies the problem. No matter who one selects as their leader, they all fall short. This means that our candidates are sinners. They all sinned. Genuine repentance is required and that between God and the sinner. We can't judge the heart like God can. Endorsing a political party does not mean that a Christian is endorsing their sins. Both sides have sin.
Let's not show indignation towards different political differences. All leaders and potential leaders have missed their target.
Our political views may be different but our true leader should be the same.
We should be comforted in knowing that our God wins!
Peace to all!

Problem is that you only have two parties in the US. In this case it is the lesser of two evils. Both candidates are bad, just in different ways. Your country is a mess.

Hopeful23, please reconsider your last line. I'm trying hard to stir Peace and Love amongst the Christians. I pretty much agreed until your last line. Maybe you didn't mean the intensity of your statement. Please amend.
We should work in His Peace.
Nothing but ❤

There is individual sin in everyone, but the point, there's a certain party which, as a whole, is taking active measures to actually back those mentioned sins, which, if enacted , say ,a Christian baker would get fined or shut down for not baking a cake for a gay wedding,or a Christian dr. blacklisted if he doesn't want to do an abortion. So by another Christian voting them in, to me, it's almost similar to what Judas did with Jesus.

President Trump’s daughter, Tiffany Trump, spoke at a campaign event in Tampa, Fla., saying Trump support Gays and the LGBTQ community
Well if he does, that's a different story and I WOULD NOT agree with it,and probably not vote for either of them and let God sort it outP.S.. On the other hand, politicians are always selling out for votes, so who knows what they actually think.

Steven my point is both sides bring their sinful baggage. Should I hold you responsible for Trump's sins? Of course not! Both sides together have strayed... like abortion, lies, hate, manipulation, fraud...it's all wrong! All miss the righteous mark and is subjected to God's judgement. It's the same way here in Canada. Our top leaders have at one point said or acted upon anti-Christian characteristics. I don't own their flaws and nor do any Americans own the flaws of their imperfect leader.
Pray! As you know I pray for all leaders. I don't pray that they are condemned. I pray for their spiritual prosperity.
At the end, when the dust (men) has passed, God remains!
God wins!

Just sharing, but to note how my views have changed, in the past when I used to hear of the prophecies,my life at that time was going along at a pretty even keel, but now more "rock the boat,"" hard-bitten," or even downright troublesome experiences have come, and so whereas in the past, I didn't...
