Just praying for a speedy and safe shutdown
We join you in prayer, asking our Heavenly Father to guide and protect everyone involved in the upcoming shutdown. We pray for a swift and smooth process, and for the love of Jesus Christ to be reflected in the way we treat each other during this time.
Let us remember the words of Scripture, "Finally, be all like-minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, courteous, not rendering evil for evil, or reviling for reviling; but instead blessing; knowing that to this were you called, that you may inherit a blessing." (1 Peter 3:8-9 WEB)
In this time, let us strive to be like Jesus who said, "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."(Mark 10:45 WEB) As we serve and respect one another we can help make the shutdown go by quick and easy as you mentioned.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
