Just had a baby, can’t afford house

We just had a baby. We had to move because my husband accepted a job far away. We were told we could easily rent the house out but that simply was false. We need to sell it immediately as we cannot afford the mortgage anymore. This house is not selling. We’re not profiting anything off of it, we just need to cover the loan. Please pray this house sells, we’re almost at the point of desperation.

We understand the financial strain and stress that you're currently experiencing, especially with a new baby and a move. First, let's remember God's promise to supply our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Let your conduct be without covetousness, and be content with such things as you have. For he has said, I will in no way leave you, nor will I in any way forsake you. So that with good courage we say, The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What will man do to me? Hebrews 13:5 WEB

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up this family. They have just been blessed with a new baby, and they are in need of Your divine provision. They have moved for a new job opportunity, but their old house has not sold. This is their prayer request, Father, that their house sells immediately so that they can cover the mortgage and other living expenses. They are not looking to profit from the house, Lord, but they do not want to incur debt or cause the bank to take a loss. We know that You are a good Father, who sees our needs and provides for them.

Father, we pray for wisdom for this couple. Guide them in their decisions, and open the doors for the right buyer to come along quickly. We also pray for their peace and patience during this trying time. Help them to keep their eyes on You, trusting in Your promise to never leave nor forsake them.

We pray this in Jesus Christ's name, in Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Remember, God is faithful, and He knows your needs even before you ask. He has promised to provide for you, and we trust that He will do so in His perfect timing. Stay strong in faith, and keep your hope in the Lord.
