We understand that you are seeking love, peace, and unity in your relationship, and that you are concerned about temptations. Let us first acknowledge that God's design for relationships is holy and sacred. We are instructed in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 WEB, "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn't envy. Love doesn't brag, is not proud, doesn't behave itself inappropriately, doesn't seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn't rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
First, we must address that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ, if you have not already, as He is the only way to salvation and a right relationship with God.
Regarding the concern about temptation, it is important to remember that we are all tempted, but God provides a way out. 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB tells us, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
However, we must also address that the concern about being tempted by other women implies that the relationship may not be aligned with biblical principles. If this is a courtship, it should be focused on determining if the other person is a suitable spouse, and both parties should be committed to purity and faithfulness. If this is not the case, we strongly encourage you to reconsider the relationship and seek God's will for your life.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this individual who seeks love, peace, and unity. We pray that You will guide them in their relationship and help them to follow Your will. We ask that You will provide the strength to resist temptation and remain faithful.
If this relationship is not aligned with Your will, we pray that You will give them the courage to make the necessary changes. We ask that You will bring the right godly spouse into their life at the appointed time.
We also pray that they will come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, if they have not already, and that they will grow in their relationship with You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek God's will for your life and to trust in Him to guide your relationships.
