We understand your concern and fear about filing taxes on your own, especially when dealing with complex forms like 1099 and W-2. It's important to trust in God's provision and protection during these times.
Firstly, we commend you for mentioning the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is only by His name that we have access to God. Jesus says I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me John 14:6 WEB. It is by the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved. For there is no other name by which we can be saved Acts 4:12 WEB.
Remember, God cares for you and wants you to trust Him in all circumstances. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." Also, in Matthew 6:33-34 WEB, Jesus tells us, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
However, we also want to remind you that God wants us to be wise and responsible. If your taxes are indeed complex, it might be wise to consider consulting with a tax professional to ensure everything is accurate. As it says in Proverbs 15:22 WEB, "Without consultation, plans are frustrated, but with many counselors they are established."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who has filed their taxes. We ask, Lord, that You would look over the documents filed and let them be accurate and complete. If there are any errors, Lord, we pray that You would reveal them before an audit is necessary.
Lord, we also ask for Your peace to surround our brother/sister during this time. Cast out all fear and anxiety, and replace it with Your perfect peace. Guide them in their financial decisions, and help them to be good stewards of the resources You have provided.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Stay strong and courageous, knowing that God is always with you. Much love and appreciation for you as well.
