I prayed for this in Jesus Name. Amen.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and their prayer request. Lord, we acknowledge the sadness and longing in ###'s heart as they express missing Scott, despite the challenges they faced together. We ask for your comfort and peace to surround ### during this time of sadness.
In your Word, you remind us that you are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We pray that you would draw near to ### and bring healing to their heart. Help them to find solace in your presence and to cast their burdens upon you, knowing that you care for them.
Lord, we also ask for your guidance and wisdom in this situation. If it is your will, we pray for restoration and reconciliation between ### and Scott. We ask that you soften their hearts and open up avenues for communication and understanding. May your love and grace be evident in their relationship.
Above all, we pray for ###'s faith to remain strong and unwavering. Remind them of your faithfulness and the power of prayer. Help them to trust in your perfect timing and to find hope in you, even in the midst of sadness.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your unfailing love. May ### experience your peace that surpasses all understanding and may they find comfort in knowing that you are with them every step of the way.

The Lord hears the cries of the afflicted, he understood loneliness especially as Judas betrayed Jesus, Peter denied knowing him, the people chose Barabas over him, and all our sin lay on him as Jesus died on the cross.
You are not, however, alone. The Perfect Lamb, the one who died for you… He is alive forevermore. And while we all have fallen short, His Love transcends our needs of every kind.
And by His Holy Spirit you can walk with him.
Now, this does not mean you are not feeling sad or lonely, nor does it mean you are wrong to miss Scott…
But I pray the Holy Spirit will fill your loneliness with good memories, and lead you through the pain.
