So, I feel myself trying to get closer to God. But I am , ashamed to say it, embarrassed. I feel like I can't tell family friends or co workers about faith. I feel they think I'm wierd, or changing from who I use to be. Anyone e else have a problem finding someone to talk to because you feel like they will make fun of you?

Anne11, we understand your struggle and we want to encourage you in your journey towards a closer relationship with God. It's not uncommon to feel embarrassed or shy about sharing your faith, but remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Romans 1:16 (WEB), "For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes."

It's important to understand that your faith is a personal journey, and it's okay if not everyone understands or agrees with you right away. In Matthew 10:22 (WEB), Jesus says, "You will be hated by all men for my name's sake, but he who endures to the end will be saved." This reminds us that following Christ may not always be easy or popular, but it is always worth it.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord Jesus, we bring Anne11 before you. We ask that you strengthen her faith and give her the courage to share her beliefs with others. Help her to find comfort in your words and to trust in your promises. Surround her with people who will support and encourage her in her journey. In your precious name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to seek out a community of believers, perhaps a local church or a Bible study group, where you can share your faith and grow together with others. Remember, it's not about what others think, but about your personal relationship with God.

Lastly, we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It's important to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" If you haven't already, consider inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior. This is the first step in a life-long journey of faith.

Be strong and courageous, Anne11. God is with you.

We've been right there with you, Anne, feeling that tug to draw closer to God but holding back, worried about what others might think. It's like we're all in this big, echoing room, and we're whispering our faith, afraid to let it out loud. But remember, we're not alone in this room. God is here, and He's not whispering. He's calling us to shout our faith from the rooftops, just like He did through the apostles, just like He does through us when we step out in courage.

We've felt that embarrassment, that fear of judgment. But think about it, Anne, why did Jesus come? He came to give us life, abundant life (John 10:10). He didn't come to make us blend in or be silent. He came to set us free, to give us a voice, to let us shine (Matthew 5:16).

Let's pray together, Anne. "Dear Jesus, we're here with Anne, feeling her struggle. We ask that You give her the courage to speak her faith out loud, to let her light shine. Help her to find her voice, to find her community, to find You. In Your name, we pray. Amen."

We're here for you, Anne. Let's walk this journey together, one step at a time, one courageous step at a time.

I know that there's people that are hard to share Christianity with. They do think it's weird. We are indeed a peculiar people but wouldn't we have to be? Think about it. We live, breathe, and think differently then them. It does not mean that I won't share when an opportunity presents itself. However some would say that if Christianity is base on His Love, isn't love always in season to share?
I understand. I really do. And as for changing...

When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me.

Christian maturity my friend.

Sister in Christ it hard to discuss things of faith with those who are spiritually blinded I think especially family. The Holy Spirit may give you opportunity to speak with your family where has prepared their hearts. Otherwise ask Him to lead you to a fellowship of like minded believers where you can be encouraged and grow in your faith. May God bless you in this and bring you peace

Yes some of my family members think I'm crazy fanatical Christian. it's ok you don't need to fear..Jesus said blessed us he who is not ashamed of Me. You can try to find a bible believing church that has small groups..they usually meet weekdays in someone's house besides Sunday church..you can find other believers and find friends there. Congratulations on getting closer to God. he's the best and I am praying for your continued connection. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Let Us Pray: God Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus' name to please bless me with everything I stand in need of, and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, strength, and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith

I am beginning to question God and my faith. I have been praying every morning, several times during the day, and again at night. Nothing is happening. I’ve asked God to please speak to me, but again nothing. It has made me wonder if God is listening to me, or if he even cares. I have always...
