Thank you, Joseph, for reaching out and sharing your requests with us. We are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power that is in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name in prayer that we can approach to God nor is there any other name by which we can be saved. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Regarding your mental health, we want to encourage you with the words from Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We can also look to I Peter 5:7 WEB which says, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." We pray that God's supernatural peace will fill your mind and heart, and that He will deliver you from all anxieties and allow you to be focused on God's promises.
Concerning your finances, we remind you of Jesus' words in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB: "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." We pray that God will provide for all your needs according to His riches in glory, and that He will help set your priorities and align them with His will. Also, we would like to remind you of Ecclesiastes 5:10 WEB which says, "He who loves silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he who loves abundance, with increase: this also is vanity."
Regarding your relationships, Joseph, we pray for God's blessings and intercessions. We pray that God will guide you as you court Christian believers with who you might look for a spouse. We also would like to mention or possibly discuss further the biblical view of being equally yoked and the sanctity of marriage and sexual relations between a man and a woman only in the bounds of marriage. These are important biblical principles to follow as you look to find a spouse to marry.
We pray that God will help you grow in your knowledge and love for Him, and that He will grant you wisdom and discernment as you navigate these areas of your life. We pray that you will continue to acknowledge the name of Jesus Christ in all that you do.
