Joseph, it's with heartfelt concern that we address your feelings that God hates you. Firstly, let us assure you that God is love, and His love for you is eternally unfailing. As it is written in the World English Bible (WEB), "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).
It's crucial to understand that our feelings can sometimes deceive us, but God's Word stands true forever. The enemy of our souls, Satan, often tries to make us believe lies about God's character and our worth. But remember, "Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world" (1 John 4:4).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up Joseph to You right now. We ask that You reveal Your unfailing love to him. Help him to know deep within his heart that You care for him and that You sent Your Son, Jesus Christ, to die for his sins because of Your great love. Give him strength to rebuke the lies of the enemy and to stand firmly on Your promises. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Joseph, whenever you feel unloved or distanced from God, remember His promises and draw near to Him. The Bible tells us, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you" (James 4:8). Seek Him in prayer, read His Word, and surround yourself with fellow believers who can encourage and support you. If you haven't already, confess your sins and put your faith in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Stand firm in faith, and know that God's love for you is steadfast and eternal. "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:38-39).
