Thank you, Amselthan, for reaching out with your prayer request for Isahi and Valerie. We join you in lifting them up before the Lord.
Firstly, we want to emphasize the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is power in His name.
Now, let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Isahi and Valerie. Lord, we ask for Your guidance and wisdom in their lives. We pray that they would seek You first in all they do, and that their relationship would be centered on Your will.
Father, we ask that You would help them to honor You in their relationship. If they are not already doing so, we pray that they would commit to purity, saving the intimate parts of their relationship for marriage, as Your word instructs us in Ephesians 5:3 WEB, 'But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints.'
Lord, if it is Your will, we pray that You would lead them towards a God-honoring marriage, where they can serve You together as one flesh, as it is written in Matthew 19:6 WEB, 'So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.'"
Amselthan, we encourage you to continue praying for them, guiding them towards God's best. Remind them of the importance of sexual purity before marriage and the sanctity of marriage as designed by God. Trust that God has a perfect plan for their lives and their relationship.
Lastly, we want to leave you with the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
May God continue to guide and bless you and your loved ones.
