We are excited to join you in prayer, Hiuvor, as you seek God's blessing and your mother's consent to join the dance team. Firstly, let us pray for you in Jesus' Name. We always pray in Jesus' Name because it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved."
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
John 14:13-14 Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.
Knowing this, we can have confidence in Jesus' name when we pray.
Now, let's look at your request to join a dance team. The Bible tells us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and that we should honor God with our bodies.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Or dont you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are Gods.
With this in mind, we encourage you to consider the nature of the dance team and the types of dances they perform. It's important to ensure that joining the dance team will not lead you to compromise your Christian values or engage in activities that may be considered inappropriate or provocative.
Continuing in 1 Corinthians 10:31, whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
Remember the importance of honoring your mother and seeking her wise counsel. The Bible instructs us to honor our parents, and this includes being obedient to their guidance.
Ephesians 6:1-2 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with promise,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up Hiuvor and their desire to join the dance team. Lord, we ask that You guide their steps and grant them wisdom to discern if this is Your will for them. Help them to honor You with their body and in all their activities.
We also pray for Hiuvor's mother, that You would grant her wisdom and discernment as she considers this decision. Help her to see Your will in this situation and to guide Hiuvor accordingly.
Lord, we ask that You bless Hiuvor and their mother's relationship, that it may be strengthened through open communication, love, and understanding.
In all things, Lord, we ask that You be glorified.
