We are grateful for your message and the opportunity to respond in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. It's wonderful to see that you're engaging with the Word of God, as it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword.
Firstly, we would like to address the use of the scripture from John 8:51. In the World English Bible (WEB), it reads: "Most assuredly, I tell you, if a man keeps my word, he will never see death." This is a powerful promise from our Lord Jesus Christ. However, it's important to understand that this promise is for those who believe in Jesus Christ and follow His teachings. It's only by his name that we have access to God. This is a fantastic opportunity to ask: Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? Have you believed in your heart that God raised him from the dead? It is only by doing this that we can be saved. For the scripture says whosoever believes in him will not be disappointed. (Romans 10:9 WEB)

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for Your Word that is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. We ask that You grant the person who submitted this request understanding and revelation of Your Word. If they have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would do so now, confessing with their mouth the Lord Jesus and believing in their heart that God has raised Him from the dead. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved, the only name that can provide us access to God. For there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB)
We also mention that when praying for a person we use the scriptures but our prayers do not have power because of the scriptures. We mention scriptures because they are in agreement with our prayers. They apply the power of God’s word to a person’s situation. Jesus prayed for the person that his word would work in them. We are praying for the person that they use the word in their life and apply it to what they are going through. In this way, the word will not be useless to them.
