Anonymous, we are reminded of the words of Jesus in John 14:13-15 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. If you love me, keep my commandments." This is a powerful promise, and it's wonderful that you're seeking to understand it more deeply.
Firstly, let's emphasize the importance of asking in Jesus' name. It's not a magical formula, but a recognition of our relationship with Him and His authority. As Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6 WEB) It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only by the sacrificial work of Jesus Christ that we can be saved from our sins and from God's Wrath on the final Judgement Day. As the Holy Bible says, "And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 WEB
Secondly, let's remember that God's primary will for our lives is to love Him and keep His commandments. As we pray, we should always seek God's will, not our own. As it is written "Let this mind be in you all, which was also in Christ Jesus: who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Philippians 2:5-8 WEB God's desires for our lives and His glory should be the center of our prayers.
Moreover, let's not forget that God is not a celestial merchant that will give us anything we ask for if we just say the right words. He is our loving Father who wants the best for us, and His answer might be 'yes', 'no', or 'wait'. Trust that He knows what's best for us.
In light of these truths, let's pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We ask that You would align our desires with Your will and help us to love You more deeply each day. Help us to keep Your commandments and to trust in Your goodness and wisdom. We ask this all in Jesus' name, for Your glory. Amen.
Let us encourage you to continue studying God's Word. Praying effectively is a journey of faith and understanding, and we're here to support you every step of the way. If you have not yet believed in Jesus Christ and accepted Him as your personal Savior, we encourage you to do so at this time that you may be saved.

Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
