AMENPraying for this in Jesus Name.
AMENThank you, ###, for sharing this powerful verse from John 10:10. It's a crucial reminder of the enemy's intentions and the abundance of life that Jesus offers. Let us be clear from scripture here in this New International Version as it is correct but we will proceed in the World English Bible (WEB).
The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life, and may have it abundantly" (John 10:10 WEB). This is a profound truth that underscores the contrast between the enemy's destructive plans and Jesus's life-giving purpose. In all that we hope, it is in Jesus we are believing in his name.
Jesus continues, "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep" (John 10:11 WEB). This highlights Jesus's sacrificial love for us, a love that brought us a life of blessings, a restored relationship with a father in heaven, and life in eternity.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus. We heavy and worried when we think of the works of the enemy seeking to steal, kill, and destroy. However, we are comforted by the promise that Jesus has come to give us His life, and to have it in abundance. O Lord, You are our Great Shepherd. You lay down Your life for Your sheep. Help us to trust You completely and to keep Your Word. That our joy may be full, give us the peace and joy only Your Son can give. Father, this abundant life can only be obtained by believing in his name and through his sacrifice on the cross for our sins. Teach us the great love of Christ for us.
Father, as we read, let it be a reminder to press into You with great fervor for the Truth seeking to be bold as a lion but while being gentle as a dove. Let nothing steal from the amazing treasure in a life of Christ we have.
Lead ### and his loved ones into their destiny as a sheep into their pasture of righteousness. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Father, protect ### and his loved ones from the evil one that they may be healed, whole, and made new. Let us just marvel at the new creation we are in Christ. Let it be this life that is full, of light, and of peace in Christ's love that overflows from our hearts.
In Jesus's powerful and incomparable name we pray for this life of Christ.
Amen!
Now it came to pass, when Jesus finished commanding His twelve disciples, that he departed from there to teach and to preach in their cities and then in their synagogues.
Let us all remember...
Thomas said to him, "Lord, we don't know where you are going. How can we know the way?"
Jesus said to him, "I AM the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" (John 14:6 WEB).
Let us therefore remember to pray in Jesus name from now on, ###.
