We understand your heartfelt requests and lift them up to the Lord in prayer, seeking His will and intervention.
Let us pray for Tom, who is in need of a job and financial help. We ask that God would open doors of opportunity for him and provide for his needs according to His riches in glory. We remember the words of Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We also pray for Tom's salvation, that he would come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.
We also lift up Tonya, asking God to set her free permanently from all addictions. We pray that she would find a new place to live and stay, and that she would come to know the saving power of Jesus Christ. We stand on the promise of 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."
We pray for Vicky, asking God to provide for her financially and to help her find remote work. We also pray for her weight loss journey, that she would find strength and discipline in the Lord. We ask for His inner peace to fill her heart and mind. We encourage her with the words of Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We lift up Leandra, Abel, Alex, Bobby, Bree, Brandon, and Mike, asking God to touch their bodies and bring healing. We stand on the promise of James 5:14-15, "Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Lastly, we note that some of the requests did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We encourage you to trust in the power of Jesus' name and to pray in His name.
We stand with you in prayer, believing that God hears and answers our prayers. We trust that He is working in each of these situations for His good and glory. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
