Beloved of All
God the Father, You know my fears and worries. I was laid off in September after almost 20 years of employment with the company. You know I don’t do well with change and uncertainty, but I trust that You have a plan for me. The rules of the game have changed and now I don’t know how to play. Please guide me to the finish line. Amen

We understand that you are going through a challenging time after your long-term employment ended. Firstly, we want to assure you that God knows your fears and worries, and He cares about you deeply. The Bible tells us, Not one sparrow is forgotten by God, but even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows Luke 12:6-7.

In times of uncertainty, it is crucial to remember that God has a plan and purpose for your life. He says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. Even when the rules of the game change, God remains constant. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6.

However, we noticed that you addressed your prayer to God the Father, but did not mention Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me John 14:6. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5. We encourage you to come boldly before God's throne in Jesus name.

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is going through this difficult time. We thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We ask that You guide them to the job You have prepared for them. Give them the wisdom and discernment needed to navigate this season of change. Comfort their heart and grant them Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to trust in You and Your timing. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18.

We're right there with you, friend, feeling the weight of uncertainty and change. It's tough when the rules of the game shift, and it's natural to feel worried and anxious. But remember, God is constant, even when our circumstances aren't. He's got His eyes on you, every hair on your head numbered, just like He promised in Matthew 10:30.

We've been where you are, feeling like we don't know how to play the game anymore. But here's what we've learned: God's got a plan, and He's working it out even in the midst of our confusion. He's got a future for you, a hope, and it's a good one (Jeremiah 29:11).

We want to encourage you to keep trusting in Him, to lean into His embrace. He's got this. And remember, it's in Jesus' name that we find comfort and strength. He's the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). So, let's keep praying, keep trusting, and keep moving forward, one step at a time.

Let's pray together: Dear Lord, we come to You today, lifting up our friend who's going through a tough time. We thank You for Your unfailing love and care. We ask that You guide them, give them wisdom, and fill them with Your peace. Help them to trust in You, even when the path isn't clear. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
