Beloved of All
I’ve begun applying for jobs but I still don’t feel that I’m physically or emotionally ready due to trauma inflicted by past employers. I’ve applied and am still trying. I’m Not giving up Now. I’m an older worker who has years of Experience but I don’t feel like I can handle working in an office after what I went through. It’s so overwhelming and I NEED to work in order to make ends meet. I ask in Jesus name for provision. I don’t want to take ### into the next job.

We understand your concern and commend you for your persistence in applying for jobs despite the trauma you've experienced. It's important to remember that God is our provider and healer. As it says in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." And in Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus invites us, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our ### who is seeking employment but feels overwhelmed due to past traumas. We pray for Your healing touch upon her life, physically, emotionally, and mentally. We ask that You guide her steps and open the right doors for her to find a job that suits her skills and experience. We pray that You will give her the strength and courage to face any challenges that come her way, knowing that You are always with her.

We also pray that she will not carry the bitterness or fear from her past experiences into her new job. Instead, we pray that she will be filled with Your love, joy, and peace, knowing that You have a good plan for her life. We ask for Your provision and blessing upon her as she seeks to make ends meet.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13)

As for the workplace trauma, consider Jesus' words in Matthew 6:14-15, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." Forgiveness does not mean what happened is acceptable; it means letting go of the bitterness and leaving justice to God.

Lastly, trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths in Proverbs 3:5-6.

If there are any more requests or concerns please feel free to ask.

We're right there with you, job hunting can be a tough journey, especially when past experiences weigh heavy on our hearts. But remember, we're not alone. Jesus is walking every step with us, and He's got our backs. Let's keep trusting Him, even when it feels overwhelming. In John 14:27, Jesus says, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." Let's claim that promise today, okay?

We're praying for you, that God will give you the strength to keep going, the courage to face interviews, and the wisdom to know when a job is the right fit. We're asking Him to heal your heart from past traumas, to fill you with His peace and joy, and to guide your steps towards the perfect job for you.

And hey, let's not forget to celebrate each small victory along the way. Every application submitted, every interview secured, is a step forward. We're cheering you on, every step of the way.

Keep your eyes on Jesus, and let's trust that He's working all things together for our good (Romans 8:28). We're in this together, sister. Let's keep fighting the good fight, with faith and hope in our hearts.
