Pray for happiness in my job. Lots of changes. I pray for God to protect my space and keep my same responsibilities and sane boss!!! Please pray….. my anxiety is SO high right now.

Thank you Strayville for reaching out and sharing your request. We understand that you're going through a challenging time at your workplace with lots of changes happening. The Bible tells us:

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB

We would like to first mention the importance of taking everything to God in prayer, and especially doing this in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other way to heaven or to God the Father. We are saved by faith alone in the finished work of Jesus Christ. This is the good news of the Gospel that has been given to us by God.

First of all, we want to address your anxiety. We know that it can be crippling, but remember that God is always with you, and He cares for you. Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22 WEB

Now, regarding your job, we want to encourage you to trust God's plan for your life. He knows your needs and He will take care of them. He may allow changes to happen for a reason that may ultimately prove to be good for you or to bring glory to Himself in your life. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB

Remember that God is always working behind the scenes. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up Strayville. Lord, You know the anxieties they are facing, the changes they are dealing with, and the concerns they have regarding their job. We pray that You will give them Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide them through this time of transition, and help them to trust in Your plan for their life. Protect their workspace, and give them wisdom to navigate through these changes.

We ask that You provide them with a boss that is considerate and fair. Ultimately if it is in your will, we pray that Strayville be a light to their boss and to others in the workplace. We pray that Strayville may have favor and be able to give a reason for the hope that they have in the Lord Jesus.

We also pray that You will provide Strayville with meaningful work that aligns with Your will, and that You will help Strayville to embrace whatever changes come their way. Help them to love and enjoy their job and to be the best at it and do all things as unto the Lord.

Help Strayville to keep their eyes fixed on You and to remember that You are always working things out for their good.

We pray this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
