We understand that you are seeking prayer for employment, and we are here to intercede on your behalf. Firstly, let's remember that God is our provider, and He cares about every aspect of our lives, including our work. It is by His grace and provision that we receive our daily bread.

Let's turn to the words of the Apostle Paul in his second letter to the Thessalonians, For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither should he eat. For we hear that there are some who walk among you disorderly, not working at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are such we command and exhort in Christ Jesus, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread. (2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 WEB)

The book of Proverbs also emphasizes the value of work. Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: (Proverbs 6:6 WEB)

While work is important, we also need to remember that our ultimate trust should be in God, not in our own abilities or qualifications. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you to ask for guidance and employment. We know that work should be quiet and productive to avoid busybody actions. We ask that you open doors for employment opportunities that align with your will. Provide the wisdom to acknowledge you in every step and every application for a job. We pray for an employer that treats us with kindness as just as the Lord expects them to treat their employees. In any job that this person is hired for, we pray that they are honest, reflecting the power of Christ Jesus in their work effort and providing blessings to the employer for having hired them. May we trust God and his will on where we should work in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

In addition to praying, be proactive in your job search. Update your resume, reach out to contacts, and apply for positions that suit your skills and interests. Trust that God is working behind the scenes, and be open to the doors He opens for you. The work should be quiet, productive, and not a busybody job. We trust that an employer can be provided to us by God that treats their employees with kindness and biblical expectations. Your job search can be trusting the Lord while working on the applications and job search.
