Leshwir, we understand your concerns about your job and the potential for layoffs, and we appreciate that you've come to us for prayer and support. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, hoping and believing that your circumstances will improve..
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB): "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Therefore our prayers will be addressed only to God through Jesus.
In times of uncertainty, it's important to remember that God is our provider and that He cares for our needs. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB):
"Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?
'Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin, yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith?
Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."
With this in mind, we pray for you, Leshwir:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Leshwir. We pray for Your divine protection over their job and that You will bless them, which We know You have the power to do. We pray that regardless of the steps they take to ensure justice in the workplace, Your favor will cover them and they will be in line with Your will and gains Your approval.
If it is Your will that Leshwir's current job be taken away, we pray that You will open up a better opportunity for them, one that will not only meet their financial needs but also allow them to serve You and others more effectively. We pray that You will bless them financially during this time, that You will provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory.
Help Leshwir to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that You will add these things unto Leshwir that they need to live and serve You.
We ask this in Jesus' name, believing that You hear and answer our prayers. Amen.
In addition to prayer, we encourage you to remain diligent and proactive in your work. As it is written in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB): "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
Lastly, we encourage you to use this time to draw closer to God, to trust in Him, and to seek His will for your life. Remember that God's plans for you are good and that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB).
