As the Bible says, "Commit your way to the Lord; trust also in him, and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noon day sun." Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up our brother/sister in need of employment. Lord, we ask that You guide them to the right job, a job that will not only meet their financial needs but also allow them to serve You and others. We pray that they will trust in Your timing and not rush into anything that is not according to Your will. We claim Your promise in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Regarding your friend who is suffering, we are sorry to hear that. Please let them know that they are not alone in their suffering. The Bible tells us to "bear one another's burdens" (Galatians 6:2, WEB), and we want to pray for their healing and comfort.

Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God's presence (John 14:6, WEB). If you or your friend have not yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. It is only through Him that we can be saved and have eternal life (Acts 4:12, WEB).
