We are deeply concerned for Lucas and his family during this challenging time. Let us stand together in prayer and biblical guidance for him.
Firstly, we are thankful that Lucas is saved and attends church with his children. However, we want to encourage him to continue growing in his faith and remind him of the importance of calling upon the name of Jesus in his prayers, as Jesus said, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14 WEB)
In this time of uncertainty, we pray that Lucas will fix his mind on God and His promises. We are reminded of Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we lift up Lucas to You. We thank You for his faith and his dedication to his family. Lord, we ask that You guide Lucas to a new job, whether offshore or elsewhere, according to Your will. With his extensive experience of 11 years, we trust that You have a better opportunity in store for him. We pray that You will open the doors to a new job that will not only meet his financial needs but also bless him abundantly, as written in Psalm 37:25 (WEB), 'I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread.'
Father, we ask for Your protection over Lucas's mind. Comfort him in his stress and depression, and guide his thoughts. May he feel Your presence and experience Your peace. Help him to desire only what You desire for him, Lord. We pray for safety over his mind and that he will be filled with the hope that comes from knowing You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage Lucas to stay strong in his faith, trusting that God has a purpose and a plan for this season of his life. We also advise him to seek godly counsel and support from his church community during this time. Lastly, we remind him of Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
