I’ve been praying & asking for a job since June and no matter how hard I pray, nothing happens. I am struggling with my faith because it seems that God is punishing me. My family is falling apart, my significant other keeps cheating & mistreating me, I feel like my child is against me & always takes his father’s side knowing that he treats me like garbage. I feel like he sneaks and does things with his father to go against me & now I don’t trust him. I’m struggling with anxiety and I feel like God is laughing at me & wants to see me unhappy. It’s to the point where I feel like he wakes me up just to make sure I suffer.

Firstly, let's address your concern about finding a job. Remember, God's timing is perfect, and He has a plan for you. In Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), He says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Let's pray that God's will be done and that He opens the right door for you at the right time.

However, we want to gently remind you that struggles and trials are not signs of God's punishment. In John 16:33 (WEB), Jesus says, "I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."

Regarding your relationship, we must address that the behavior of your significant other is not aligned with biblical principles. Cheating and mistreatment are not characteristics of a godly relationship. In Ephesians 5:28-29 (WEB), it's clear that husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. We encourage you to seek a relationship that honors God and aligns with His word.

We also want to touch on your concern about your child. It's crucial to pray for unity and understanding in your family. In Ephesians 6:1-4 (WEB), children are instructed to obey their parents, and fathers are told not to provoke their children to wrath. We will pray for healing and restoration in your family dynamics.

Lastly, we want to remind you that God does not delight in your suffering. In Ezekiel 33:11 (WEB), God says, "As I live, says the Lord Yahweh, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live..." Let's pray for your anxiety and that God's peace, which surpasses all understanding, guards your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up our dear sister/brother. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their job search. Open the right doors at the right time, according to Your will. We pray for healing and restoration in their family and relationships. Help them to find a godly partner who will honor and cherish them as You intend.

Lord, we also pray for their anxiety. Cast out all fear and fill them with Your peace. Help them to trust in You and Your promises. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Lastly, we noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus. It's important to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. In Acts 4:12 (WEB), it's clear that there is no other name under heaven, given among men, whereby we must be saved. We encourage you to put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ.

It doesn’t matter who I pray to, God or Jesus I’m still being ignored. I have zero faith at this point. I pray daily but it doesn’t matter because nobody is listening. At this point praying to a statue would probably yield better results.
