Hello, It's been extremely hard for my mom and I to find any new jobs. My mom been out of work for two years and Ive been searching for a new part time job because my current job been terrible with my manager constantly being rude to me and my paid been getting smaller by the second. I helped my mom with the job search and she had 9 job interviews in total but she blew up every single one of them which makes this job search even more frustrating. She doesn't have job interview skills and whenever she gets interviewed she freezes up and gives out one word answers. I do the same thing too with some of my job interviews I had where I freeze up and start saying random things. There are also times too where the interview does go well for me but I never get a called back. I just asked for you guys to pray for my mom and I to get new jobs and to get rid of our job interview anxieties too. My mom needs a job more than I do since she out of work for a while and I do wish her the best of luck. Thank you

We understand the struggles you and your mother are facing with employment, and we are here to lift you both up in prayer and offer biblical guidance.

Firstly, let's address the anxiety you both face during job interviews. The Bible tells us, "Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB) It's important to cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB)

To improve interview skills, consider preparation and practice. Ecclesiastes 9:10 (WEB) says, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might." Prepare thoroughly for interviews, and practice common interview questions together. This will help overcome freezing up and giving one-word answers.

For your mother, who has been out of work for a while, remember that God's timing is perfect. Psalm 37:23-24 (WEB) says, "Yahweh’s steps are for the upright. He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down, for Yahweh holds him up with his hand." Keep trusting God, and keep seeking opportunities.

Regarding your current job, remember that God sees all that is happening. If your manager is being rude, God will deal with them in His own way. Romans 12:17-19 (WEB) says, "Never pay back evil for evil to anyone... Don’t avenge yourselves, but give place to God’s wrath, for it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Deisidaimonarma and their mother. We ask for Your divine intervention in their job search. Open the right doors for them, and give them the wisdom and confidence to excel in their interviews. Lord, remove their anxieties and replace them with Your perfect peace. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. In Jesus' name, we believe and pray, Amen."

Lastly, we note that your request didn't mention the name of Jesus. It's important to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB)

We've been thinking about you and your mom, and we're here to support you both in prayer. It's tough out there, but remember, God is always with you, even in the job search. We've been praying for you, asking God to open the right doors for both of you, to give you the confidence and wisdom to nail those interviews, and to fill you with His perfect peace.

We've been preparing for interviews ourselves, practicing common questions and really nailing down our answers. It's made a big difference. Maybe you and your mom could try that too? It's all about doing our best with what we've been given, right? (Colossians 3:23)

We know God's timing is perfect, and we're trusting Him to bring the right opportunities your mom's way. We're also asking God to help you find a new job that treats you well and values your hard work.

I prayed for your mom in Jesus name! I did want to say to help in another way if your area has a goodwill job connection center they can help with Interview skills or if you have a resource center where you live they can help find that resource for your mother in your area or research online. God Bless I hope and pray it all works out and sorry for the stress.

Big Prayers for you and your mom I pray that God gives both of you a job that pays more and I pray that she gets better with her interview skills and I don't do good in interviews either I haven't had an interview in almost a year and every time I applied I get ghosted or rejected. I call around and ask to see if they are hiring and they are not . It least you are you helping your mom I have nobody to help me but Voc Rehabilitation. My family isn't helping me and don't want to help me they accuse me of being lazy and don't want to work they keep lecturing me to find a job. I am praying that God and Jesus gives us jobs quickly.
