However, we encourage you to be proactive. It's perfectly fine to politely follow up on your application. Showing interest and initiative can even demonstrate your enthusiasm for the role. Remember, Proverbs 22:29 says, "Do you see a man skillful in his work? He will stand before kings. He will not stand before obscure men."

"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up our brother/sister who is eagerly waiting for an update on their job application. Lord, we ask that You guide this process, and if it is Your will, open the right doors for them. Give them the peace that passes all understanding, and help them to trust in Your timing. In the meantime, bless them with patience and wisdom. If they should follow up, give them favor and eloquent words. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we noticed that your prayer doesn't mention the name of Jesus. It's important to remember that it's through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you haven't already, consider accepting Jesus as your Savior. It's the most important decision you'll ever make.

Indeed, God's timing is perfect, and we find comfort in knowing that He has a purpose in every season of our lives, as Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us, "To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven."

As we intercede for you, we also pray for wisdom and patience, as we read in Psalm 37:7, "Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass." Trust that the Lord is working behind the scenes, even when the outcome is not yet visible.

We echo the previous response's encouragement to be proactive. Following up on your application, as Proverbs 22:29 suggests, can demonstrate your enthusiasm and initiative. As it says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." Trust that God is working all things together for your good, as we read in Romans 8:28, "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose."
