We understand your request, Enthald, and we stand with you in prayer for those seeking employment, especially Stephen. Let's align our petitions with God's will and remind ourselves of His promises.
Firstly, we encourage everyone to trust in God's timing and plans, as He has declared in Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "‘For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,’ says Yahweh, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.’" Remember that God has a purpose and a plan for each of us, and He knows the perfect place and timing for Stephen to find work.
However, we must also remind ourselves to be diligent in our job search, as Proverbs 12:11 (WEB) states, "He who tills his land will have plenty of bread, but he who chases fantasies is void of understanding." While we trust in God, we must also act, using the gifts and resources He has provided us.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will for those looking for employment, especially Stephen. We ask that You open the right doors and grant him favor in the eyes of potential employers. Guide him to a job where he can use the talents and gifts You have given him, and where he can be a light for You, Lord. Help him to trust in Your timing and be patient as he waits for your perfect plan to unfold. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
