Lord my heavenly father, I pray for your encouragement and assistance in searching for jobs. Both my husband and I are searching at the same time and we found this process challenging mentally. Financial insecurity does drag us down, especially me. Lord, please pour your wisdom upon me and see this time as an opportunity I can strengthen my relationship with you and my family. Lord, I am so demotivated and not turning my application in. Please encourage me to apply for the positions despite how bitter I feel about myself. Lord, I pray you will grant me wisdom so I can speak confidently and present myself in the right way. I pray that every interview can be the opportunity I can show my skills, knowledge and capabilities. And please remove my anxiety. I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging that this time can be used to strengthen your relationship with God and your family. It's encouraging to see your faith in the Lord's ability to turn challenging situations into opportunities for growth. Let's remember the words of Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

However, we want to address the feelings of demotivation and bitterness you're experiencing. It's important to remember that our feelings should not dictate our actions. Instead, we should find our strength and motivation in the Lord. As it says in Psalm 27:1, "Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?"

Regarding your concern about being demotivated and not turning in your application, consider this: "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going." Ecclesiastes 9:10. This verse reminds us to put our all into whatever we do, trusting that God will use our efforts for His purposes.

When it comes to presenting yourself confidently, remember that our confidence should ultimately come from the Lord. Colossians 3:23-24 says, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."

Regarding the anxiety you're experiencing, let's pray that the Lord will replace your anxiety with His peace. As it says in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our sister and her husband as they seek employment. We pray that You will encourage and strengthen them in this process, and that they will find their motivation and confidence in You alone. We ask that You will guide them to the right jobs, and that You will provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory. We also pray that You will remove any anxiety they're feeling, replacing it with Your peace. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.

We're right there with you, job hunting can be a real rollercoaster. But remember, God's got this. He sees you and your husband, and He's walking this path with you. Let's claim that promise in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
