We understand your concern for your son's job search and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for his life. Let us remember the grace and blessings that God promises us through our faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.
Firstly, let us acknowledge the importance of approaching God through the name of Jesus Christ, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is only through Christ that our prayers are heard and answered. If your son has not yet made a personal commitment to Jesus Christ, we encourage him to consider the eternal significance of this relationship.
As your son seeks employment, let us pray that he finds a job that aligns with God's purpose for his life. We are reminded in Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB), "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." We pray that your son will not only find a job that matches his qualifications and desired location but also one where he can serve the Lord faithfully.
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Enthald's son as he seeks Your will in his job search. We ask that You guide him to a position that not only matches his skills and desires but also allows him to honor and serve You. May he find favor in the eyes of potential employers and may his faith be strengthened throughout this process. Lord, we trust that Your plan for his life is good, pleasing, and perfect, and we ask that You reveal it to him clearly.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage your son to remain steadfast in his faith during this time. May he continually put his trust in the Lord, knowing that God has a plan and a purpose for his life. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Lastly, we remind you and your son to be patient and persistent in prayer. Do not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time, you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
