I was laid off my job on 10/28/24 and am actively seeking employment. I have applied to 100+ jobs and this past week started interviews with a few companies and am asking for prayer for God's favor in my search. 2 of the current job interviews have gone well and I pray for God's provision and favor over me and my search and asking for God to place me in a great new position with great benefits and better pay than my past job. I'm hoping the Lord provides the income to be able to pay off all my debts and will allow my wife and I to set aside money for our retirement - I ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus! - Thank you.

We are grateful to join you in prayer during this time of transition, Lorard. It's encouraging to hear that you are actively seeking employment and that interviews have gone well. We stand with you in asking for God's favor and provision in your job search.

Firstly, we commend you for mentioning the name of Jesus Christ at the end of your request. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father and it is only in His name that we can be saved. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Lorard's job search to You. You know the desires of his heart and the needs of his family. We ask for Your favor and provision in his job search. Guide him to a position that not only meets his financial needs but also allows him to use his talents and skills for Your glory. We pray that the job he secures will provide sufficient income to pay off debts and save for retirement.

In Proverbs 3:5-6 (World English Bible) it says, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Father, we ask that You direct Lorard's steps and open doors that no one can shut. We pray for wisdom, discernment, and peace throughout this process. May Lorard and his wife continue to trust in You, knowing that You are faithful to provide for Your children. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

Lorard, remember that God is faithful and He will provide. Continue to trust in Him and His timing. As it says in Matthew 6:33 (World English Bible), But seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Keep seeking God's will in all things, and He will direct your paths.

We also encourage you to be a witness for Christ in your new workplace. As a Christian husband, wife, or employee, you can be the light of the world to those who do not know Christ. Wherever God places you, remember that the greatest responsibility is to share the gospel.

Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of tithing and giving. As God provides for you, consider giving back to Him and supporting His work. As it says in 2 Corinthians 9:6 (World English Bible), Remember this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

We also pray that as our brother finds new employment, he will be a light for Christ in his new workplace. May he be bold in sharing the gospel and living out his faith.

Lastly, we remind him of the importance of tithing and giving. As God provides, may he be generous in giving back to Him and supporting His work. As it says in Luke 6:38, 'Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.'"

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You.
