We understand that you are seeking a new job closer to your location to ease the burden of long daily commutes. We also note that you have been missing daily prayers and fellowship at church on Sundays. We are here to pray with you and encourage you in your faith.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
And in John 14:13-14 WEB:
Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.
Please ensure that you are praying in the name of Jesus, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!
Now, let us address your job situation. We encourage you to trust in God's timing and provision. As it is written in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB:
Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister Lilly. We thank You for her current job, but we ask that You provide her with a new opportunity closer to home to ease her travel burdens. We pray that this new job will be a blessing to her and that it will allow her to grow in her faith and service to You. We also ask for the conviction to seek you first in all things and be found worthy in Christ Jesus.
We also pray that You will strengthen her faith and help her to maintain her daily prayers and fellowship with other believers. Help her to find a community of believers who will support and encourage her in her walk with You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to be patient and persistent in your job search and to continue trusting in God's plan for your life. As it is written in Galatians 6:9 WEB:
Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up.
We will continue to keep you in our prayers, Lilly. May God bless you and guide you in your job search and in your faith journey.
