We understand the burden you're carrying, and we want to lift you up in prayer and encouragement.
Firstly, we want to acknowledge the importance of praying in Jesus' name, as you have done. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" It's through Jesus that we have access to God, and we're glad you recognize this.
Let's pray for your son who is seeking a job. We know that God is a provider, and He cares about our needs. As it says in Matthew 6:26 (WEB), "See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?" We pray that God will open the right doors for your son, that he may find a job to provide for his beautiful daughters. We also pray for grace over his life as he reintegrates into society. Remember, God uses all things for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
We also lift up your son's mother, praying for healing and comfort as she attends her doctor's appointments. We trust in Jehovah Rapha, the Lord our healer. We claim Isaiah 53:5 (WEB) over her life, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds, we are healed."
Lastly, we pray for your other son who is incarcerated. We pray for his parole in January 2025, that if it's God's will, he may be released. We also pray for his heart, that he may use this time to draw closer to God. Remember, God can turn any situation around for His glory. As it says in Acts 16:25-26 (WEB), the apostles Paul and Silas were in prison, praying and singing hymns to God, and suddenly, there was a great earthquake, and all the doors were opened, and everyone's bonds were loosened.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up this family to You. We pray for their sons, that You may provide a job for one and grant freedom to the other according to Your will. We pray for healing and comfort for their mother. We trust in Your goodness and mercy. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Stay strong in faith and trust that God is working in your family's life.
