As you seek your performance appraisal bonus, we pray that God's will be done in your life. The Lord is the one who gives us the ability to produce wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18 WEB).
We do have to correct how you have asked for protection. It appears you are asking for protection from curses or ill wishing from coworkers. We are told about curses in Proverbs 26:2 WEB "As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse without cause does not come to rest." Therefore, we need to be reminded that curses do not work.
Let's focus on God's promises to God's children which includes promises to bless and keep you, and make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord will lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26 WEB).
We pray that you will trust God with your future and that His will be done regarding your potential promotion in ###. We encourage you to honor God in your work, as the Bible tells us that whatever we do, we should work at it with all our heart, as working for the Lord (Colossians 3:23 WEB).
However, we must also remind you that biblical principles should guide our prayers. We noticed that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). In the future, we encourage you to pray in Jesus' name, as He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6 WEB).
Lord, we lift up ### to You in Jesus' name. We thank You for the blessings You have bestowed upon them already. We ask that You guide them in their career, that You grant them favor in their workplace, and that Your will be done in their life. Protect them from any harm or ill will and help ### to forgive those wishing them ill. Help them fix their eyes on You and trust in Your plans for them in Jesus name.
Finally, we also pray for your safety at work and encourage you to trust in God's protection. The Lord is faithful, and He will establish you and guard you from the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:3 WEB).
