We understand that you're seeking prayers for a job promotion to a GS-13 position and for safety and protection at work. Let us first assure you that God is interested in every detail of our lives, including our careers. As it is written in Psalm 37:23 (WEB), "Yahweh’s steps are for the upright. He delights in his path."
However, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus, for it is in His name that we pray and receive answers.
Now, let us pray together for your promotion and safety at work.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### to You. We thank You for their career and the opportunities You have placed before them. We ask that You guide the decisions of those in authority, and if it is Your will, grant ### the promotion to GS-13. Help them to trust in Your timing and sovereignty.
We also pray for Your protection over ### at their workplace. As it is written in Psalm 91:11-12 (WEB), "For he will assign his angels to you, to keep you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." May Your angels encamp around them and keep them safe from all harm.
Lastly, Father, we pray that ### will continue to grow in their relationship with You, trusting in Jesus for all things. In His precious name, we pray. Amen.
May you be encouraged by Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. We pray that You would open doors of opportunity and make a way for this promotion, granting her favor with her supervisors and colleagues.
In **Jeremiah 29:11**, You promise, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." We pray that ### would walk confidently in Your plan for her, knowing that You are guiding her steps toward success, peace, and fulfillment in her work.
