We join with you, Josiebay, in lifting up your son Robert Jason before the throne of grace, seeking God's will for his life. We pray that the Lord will guide and direct his steps according to Psalm 37:23, "The Lord directs his steps and he delights in his way."
As Robert Jason seeks employment, we pray that God will open the right doors for him, and that he will not lean on his own understanding, but in all his ways acknowledge God, so that the Lord will direct his paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). We ask that the Lord's will be done in this situation, and that if this job is from Him, that Robert Jason will be granted favor and be chosen for the position.
However, we also pray that if this job is not in accordance with God's plans, that the Lord will shut that door gently, and guide Robert Jason to the path He has chosen for him. We trust in the promise of Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
we want to encourage Robert Jason to remain patient and persistent in his job search, trusting that God has a purpose and a plan for this season of his life. We also encourage him to seek God's face during this time, growing closer to Him and learning to trust Him more.
In all this, we pray that Robert Jason will fix his eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and that he will grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, 13-14).
Lastly, we gently remind you, Josiebay, that as you pray for your son, remember to also pray that God will use this situation to draw Robert Jason closer to Him, and that His will be done, for that is the most important thing. God bless you and your family.
