Let us come together in prayer for Stuihaven and their husband during this time of need. We understand that they are seeking employment for their husband within the next two weeks. Firstly, we acknowledge that all good things come from God, and He is the provider of all our needs according to Philippians 4:19. "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
We must also remember that God's timing is perfect, Psalm 31:14-15 says "But I trust in you, Yahweh. I say, 'You are my God.' My times are in your hand...". Though Stuihaven has a specific time frame in mind, we pray that they will trust in God's sovereign will and accept His timing, knowing that He is working for their good (Romans 8:28).
In seeking a job, it is crucial to remember that we should strive to do all things in the name of the Lord Jesus (Colossians 3:17). Therefore, we pray that Stuihaven's husband will find employment that honors God and allows him to serve Christ in the workplace.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Stuihaven and their husband. They are in need of employment, and we ask that You would provide a job that honors You and allows them to serve Christ. We pray that You would open doors of opportunity and grant favor in interviews. We ask that Your will be done and that You would provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
We also pray that Stuihaven and their husband would trust in Your timing and rest in the knowledge that You are working for their good. Help them to cast their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
We ask all these things in Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have access to You, Father. And it is in His name that we are saved. "for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12. If they are not already believers in Jesus Christ, then we pray that they would accept the free gift of eternal life offered by God through faith in Jesus Christ. For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13.
Thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and provision.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Stuihaven, we encourage you to continue trusting in God and to seek His will in all things. Remember that He is faithful and that He cares for you. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
