Disciple of Prayer
Please help ### get a job- please help her deal with so much rejection and fear and guilt and anxiety. It has been a year - and all the family is so worried.
Job loss and financial insecurity for ###, ### and ###
Dextas, we empathize with ###'s situation and the concerns of your family. Let us first recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB), "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? ... for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
###'s extended period of unemployment is indeed worrisome, but let us remind her and the family to trust in God's provision and timing. It is crucial to seek God first, trusting that He knows her needs. Encourage ### to use this time to draw closer to God, as He can turn her situation around in His perfect timing.
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up ### and her family. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in ###'s job search. Open doors of opportunity for her, and give her favor in the sight of potential employers.
Lord Jesus, we also pray for ###'s emotional well-being. Take away her fears, anxiety, and guilt. Replace them with Your perfect love that casts out fear (1 John 4:18, WEB). Strengthen her and give her peace, knowing that You are always with her (Joshua 1:9, WEB).
Father, we also pray for ### and the rest of the family. Give them patience and faith to trust in Your timing and provision. Help them to be a source of encouragement and support for ###.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
