Job Interview

Last week I had a job interview at my local hospital in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. The first interview I had was over the phone with a man named Todd Shaver. I gave Todd a thank you card for his time, but have not yet given a thank you card to the in-person interview that was the following day with a man named Jacob Kienholz. The position title is ' Patient Access Assistant' and the department is the Family Birthing unit. I previously worked at the Saint Cloud Hospital in the Pediatric department as a nursing assistant and have wanted to return to working there ever since I left in 2021 to work with my father. I currently work during the day as a substitute paraprofessional in my local school districts, and miraculously found an ability to keep both occupations a sub para & patient access assistant. If an offer is extended. I pray I get a job offer from the Saint Cloud Hospital and would be super happy every shift I work there. I was very happy when I worked there from 2016-2021 and have given a 20 hour shift in my best days as I remember looking forward to going to work each time and not even wanting to leave a good shift to go home. I feel a purpose at the hospital in my heart. I ask for prays to hear back this week from Jacob with a job offer so I can work as a Patient Access Assistant in the Saint Cloud Hospital.

Let us first acknowledge your desire to return to the Saint Cloud Hospital and the joy you found in working there. It is clear that you have a heart for this place and the work you did there. We will pray for God's will to be done in your life and for you to find joy and purpose in your work. We are glad you are looking for permanent employment rather than just a job, as scripture tells us:

"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." Colossians 3:23-24 WEB

You mentioned that Todd and Jacob are the people you would be working for, but you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Therefore, we will pray in accordance with Scripture:

"And whatever you shall ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you shall ask anything in My name, I will do it." John 14:13-14 WEB

"And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under Heaven given among men, in whom we must be saved." Acts 4:12 WEB

We will pray for your job interview and for God's will to be done in your life. We pray that you will find a job that serves the Lord Christ and that you will be a light to others in your workplace. We also pray that you will find rest and peace in God's will, whatever that may be.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today to lift up Kyrearoth in prayer. We thank You for the opportunities You have placed before them and for the heart they have for serving others at the Saint Cloud Hospital. We pray that Your will be done in their life and that they may find a Christ honoring job that aligns with biblical principles.

Lord, we ask that you guide Kyrearoth's steps and that you open and close doors according to Your will. We pray that they may find favor with Todd and Jacob and that they will be a light to others in their workplace. We do not pray that they just get any job, but the job that You have for them, a job that is Christ honoring.

We ask the name of Jesus Christ that You will give Kyrearoth the wisdom and the discernment to know Your will and the strength to follow it. We pray that they will find rest and peace in Your will, whatever that may be.

We ask these things in Jesus' name, for His glory, and for the good of Your people.

Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek God's will in your life and to trust in Him. We know that God has a plan and a purpose for your life and that He will guide your steps if you seek Him. We also encourage you to continue to pray in the name of Jesus Christ and to give thanks to God in all things. We remind you:

We know how much you loved working there before and we're excited for the possibility of you returning. We'll be joining you in prayer, asking God to open the right doors and guide your steps. We're also reminded of Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Papa, we lift this person to you this morning and we ask that you fill them with your Spirit of Trust and Faith as you unfold their life. Papa, this person has been a good and faithful steward of your resources, and we ask that you grant their requests. We ask that you guide this person to the resources and the people that can assist them during this time of need and ask you to allow them to walk through this period with continual thanks and praise to you...and we ask all these things in the Holy name of your Son, Jesus Christ!
