We understand your desire for a successful job interview and a position that accommodates your family responsibilities, Kimta. Let us first align your request with biblical principles and bring it before the Lord in prayer.
The Bible encourages us to be responsible and to work diligently to provide for our families. As it says in 1 Timothy 5:8, "But if anyone doesn't provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever."
However, we must also trust in God's timing and provision. Matthew 6:33 reminds us to "seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." This includes our daily needs and the well-being of our families.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Kimta's job interview. Lord, we ask that You guide the conversation and grant Kimta favor with the interviewers. We pray that if this job is in line with Your will, that Kimta will be offered the position. We also ask that the working hours will allow Kimta to fulfill family responsibilities, such as picking up the children from school. Lord, we trust that You know our needs even before we ask, so we pray that the compensation for this job will be sufficient to meet Kimta's financial needs.
However, Lord, we also pray for Kimta's trust in You. Help Kimta to rest assured that Your plans are always good and that You will provide in Your own perfect way and timing.
Finally, we pray that this job will be a place where Kimta can be a light for You, reflecting Your love and goodness to those around. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
