Thank you for reaching out to us with your prayer request. We are here to lift you up and intercede on your behalf. We are glad to see that you have acknowledged Jesus in your request, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB).
Firstly, we want to encourage you with the words of the Apostle Paul in Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB), "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." Remember that as you pursue this job opportunity, you are ultimately working for the Lord, and He will reward your efforts.
However, we want to gently remind you that while it is natural to desire an on-the-spot job offer, we must also submit to God's will and timing. Matthew 6:10 (WEB) tells us to pray, "Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth." We will pray that if this job is God's will for you, then you will receive it. But we also trust that God has a plan and a purpose for your life, and His timing is perfect.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up our brother/sister who has a job interview tomorrow. Lord, we ask that You guide their steps and give them favor with the interviewers. Grant them the wisdom to answer each question with confidence and clarity. If this job is in line with Your will for their life, we pray that they would be offered the position. But above all, Lord, let Your will be done.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He directs your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB).
In Jesus' name, we stand with you in faith and prayer.
