Job Interview / praying to get hired

Hello again everyone.

Quick update on my recent venture on finding a job. Unfortunately, I didn’t get one of the jobs that I wanted to get. Which is okay. Today I had a phone call from a job I applied to and they want to move forward with the interview. Tomorrow will be my interview, and I know I have our Heavenly Father by my side and he knows what’s best for me. All things do work out in perfect timing. What’s funny is last year, I applied for this job and it didn’t get this far. So I’m glad that it’s actually happening this time. Praise God, Praise Jesus. I am so grateful that I have them by my side. I am praying that I will get the job.

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging God and Jesus in your request. It's important to remember that it's through Jesus that we have access to God, as it says in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

Now, let's pray for your job interview.

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is preparing for their job interview. We thank You for opening this door and allowing them to get to this stage in the process. We claim Your promise in Matthew 7:7 WEB: "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you."

We ask that You guide their steps and words during the interview. Give them a calm spirit and a clear mind to effectively communicate their skills and experiences. We pray that they will find favor with the interviewers and that, if it's Your will, this job will be a perfect fit for them.

However, we also ask for Your will to be done. If this job is not part of Your plan for them, we pray that You will close this door gently and open a better one. Help them to trust in Your timing and provision, remembering that You have plans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them hope and a future, as told in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.

Lastly, we pray for their continued faith and growth in You, God. Help them to shine Your light in whatever workplace You place them in, so that others may see Your goodness and be drawn to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, God has a plan for you. Trust in His timing and provision, knowing that He has your best interests at heart. Whether or not this job is for you, God is always working things out for your good and His glory.

We encourage you to study and meditate on God's word, especially verses about trust and God's provision, such as Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Lastly, we want to remind you to give all the glory to God, as it's through Jesus that we can come to God and receive His blessings. Continue to praise Him, regardless of the outcome, knowing that He is always good and always at work in your life.

Let's claim these verses together: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11. And "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:6-7.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
