We are truly sorry to hear about the job loss and understand the struggle of finding a new opportunity. We are here to intercede for you in prayer and offer encouragement from God's Word.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign and has a plan for your life. Even in difficult times, He is working everything together for good. Look at Romans 8:28:
And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
We also want to encourage you to trust in God's timing. In Ecclesiastes 3:11, we read:
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He also has planted eternity in men’s hearts and minds [a divinely implanted sense of a purpose working through the ages which nothing under the sun but God alone can satisfy], so that man cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.
Now, let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, to pray for this person that he/she will know exactly what to say and do today at the interview. His/her future is in Your hands, and You are working for his/her good. Help him/her to trust in Your timing and let Your will be done in their life. Guide them through the interview process, give them wisdom and clarity, and let the interviewers be favorable towards them. If it is Your will, open this door of opportunity and let them receive a job offer. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, who taught us to come boldly before Your throne of grace. Amen.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6:
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
And in Acts 4:12:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
So keep trusting in Him, and remember that God is always faithful even if His will is not aligning with your desires.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)
Trust in God, and His plan for your life. He will never leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:6) May God direct you in all you do and give you peace.
