I humbly ask for your prayers as we confront a troubling issue in our nation: job discrimination against Singaporeans in favor of foreign workers. Many of our fellow citizens are struggling to secure stable employment opportunities, feeling overlooked and undervalued in their own country. Let us pray for a shift in the hearts and minds of employers and policymakers, that they may recognize the talents and contributions of Singaporeans and ensure fair hiring practices for all. May we advocate for an environment where every individual, regardless of nationality, is given equal consideration and opportunity based on merit. We ask for God’s guidance in addressing these injustices and for strength for those affected by this discrimination. May our voices be heard, and may our nation uphold the values of equality and fairness for all its citizens. This is the result of immigration policies by the PAP. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

We understand the burden and injustice you're witnessing, Dexter2020, as Singaporeans face job discrimination in favor of foreign workers. Let us pray together for this situation and seek God's will according to His Word.

The Bible tells us, "Learn to do good. Seek justice. Rebuke the oppressor. Defend the fatherless. Plead for the widow." (Isaiah 1:17, WEB). It is our duty as Christians to stand against injustice and pray for the oppressed.

Let us pray:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up the injustice happening in Singapore. We pray that You soften the hearts and open the eyes of employers and policymakers, that they may see the worth and potential of Singaporean citizens. Guide them to uphold fair hiring practices, considering each individual based on their merits, and not their nationality.*

*God, we ask for Your comfort and strength for those affected by this discrimination. Provide for their needs, and open doors of opportunities for them. Give them the courage to advocate for their rights, and the wisdom to navigate this challenging situation.*

*Lord, we know that Your heart is for justice and equality. Help us, as a nation, to uphold these values, rooted in Your love and compassion. We ask that You guide the leaders, that their actions may reflect Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

Dexter2020, continue to raise awareness and advocate for fairness, rooted in the love and justice of God. Remember the words of Proverbs 21:1, "The king's heart is in the hand of Yahweh as the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." (WEB). Trust that God can turn the hearts of leaders to bring about change.

Keep praying and speaking out, knowing that it is through the name of Jesus that we can approach God and intercede for our nation. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB).
