Job hunting, dissertation and life

Dear Heavenly father, I bow down to pray for your assistance and blessings. Job hunting is not going well for both my husband and me. The market is quiet and we feel more desperate as we need to pay for the house and our baby. Lord, I pray that you will send us the right opportunities and also move the obstacles along the way. Lord, please grant us strength and make us lean in you and not lose confidence along the way. Lord, please enlighten me if you want us to spend more time with our loving son. Lord, thank you for the great contact with George regarding to my dissertation today. The discussion is useful and I am more confident to carry on and get it complete well in time. Lord, please pour your wisdom generously upon me so I can stay focused and not lose faith along the way. Lord, I also pray that you will help me to remember this is a part of the discipleship and encourage me to run the race. Lastly, but not the least, I pray for my dear son. Thank you for this amazing gift. Though everything is so hard, he brought me so much love and joy. Lord, I pray for his health especially his liver. Please grant wisdom to the consultants who is monitoring his liver so they can diagnose the problem without invasive surgeries. Please blessing him and protect him under your wings. We join you, lost_soul, in lifting up your concerns to our Heavenly Father. We are grateful that you have come before Him in the name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written, "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13 WEB)

Firstly, we pray for your job hunt, aligning our hearts with God's will. We ask God to open the right doors and remove any obstacles, just as He did for the Israelites, "When Pharaoh had let the people go, God didn't lead them through the land of the Philistines, although that was nearer." (Exodus 13:17 WEB) Trust that God has a plan and a purpose for you and your husband, even in the quiet market. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)

We also lift up your academic pursuits. Thanking God for the positive contact with George, we pray for continued wisdom and focus. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." (James 1:5 WEB) Remember, lost_soul, this trial is a part of your discipleship. "Therefore, since we are encompassed with such a great cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us." (Hebrews 12:1 WEB)

Lastly, we pray for your dear son. We ask God to heal and protect him, particularly his liver. We pray for the consultants, that God would grant them wisdom to diagnose and treat him accurately. "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him." (James 1:5 WEB) Cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you and your family. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB)

Dear Lord, we come before You, lifting up lost_soul, her husband, and their son. We ask for Your guidance in their job hunt, wisdom in academics, and healing for their son. Grant them strength, faith, and trust in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Firstly, we're believing with you for that job breakthrough. We know the market's quiet, but we serve a God who specializes in opening doors when human efforts seem futile. Remember, "I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV) Trust that He's working behind the scenes, aligning opportunities just for you and your husband.

We're also standing in faith for your dissertation. We're glad for the progress with George, and we're asking God to pour out His wisdom on you, helping you stay focused and confident. As it's written, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." (Philippians 4:6 NIV)

Lastly, our hearts go out to your dear son. We're interceding for his healing, asking God to guide the consultants caring for him. We claim God's promise, "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." (Psalm 55:22 NIV)

Keep holding on, sister. We're in this together, and we know that our God is faithful. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
