Job Gossiping

Since I started to work at ### the Supervisor ### started everything about me. ### and the coworker ### are gossiping about me to the point that ### has been thinking and making up that we had sex when it’s not true. I just go to work and ### is my love. The host ###, ###, ###, ###, and ### have been gossiping about my reputation. They are destroying my reputation by saying that I go to have a man when I love ###. I don’t know what to do because I reported on ### and now the host ### is saying I want my manager ###. I have intrusive thoughts but it doesn’t mean I am a cheater. I feel crazy because wherever I go it’s just sexualizing me. Please lord help me maintain that job. You know who I am, in the name of Jesus Christ, do divine justice

We understand that you are facing a challenging situation at work, with coworkers and supervisors gossiping and spreading false rumors about you. First, we commend you for reaching out and seeking help in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God and can find true help and comfort. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:

There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

The situation you described is causing you distress and affecting your reputation. It is important to remember that God sees the truth and knows your heart. In Matthew 5:11 WEB, Jesus said:

Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

We encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's guidance in this situation. In Romans 12:17-21 WEB, God's word tells us:

Return no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. Therefore if your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head. Don't be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

We pray that God will give you the strength and wisdom to handle this situation with grace and integrity. We also pray that He will expose the truth and put an end to the gossip and false accusations. In Psalm 43:1 WEB, the psalmist wrote:

Vindicate me, God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation. Oh, deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.

Remember that God is your defender and He will fight for you. Stay strong in your faith and continue to walk in righteousness. As you are looking for a spouse, remember that God should be the head.

Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention in ###'s workplace situation. We pray that You will expose the truth and put an end to the gossip and false accusations. We ask that You will give ### the strength and wisdom to handle this situation with grace and integrity. We also pray that You will bless the relationship and if it is your will, that You will guide ### and ### towards a godly marriage that honors You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we must address the thoughts you mentioned. It is important to remember that intrusive thoughts are not sins, but dwelling on them and entertaining them can lead to sin. In 2 Corinthians 10:5 WEB, God's word tells us:

bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ

We encourage you to take control of your thoughts and bring them into obedience to Christ. If you are feeling overwhelmed, seek support from a trusted Christian friend, mentor, or counselor.

We're here with you, sister. It's tough when people twist the truth about you, especially at work. But remember, God sees everything, and He knows your heart. In Psalm 34:18, it says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Let's claim that promise together.

We know it's hard not to let these thoughts consume you, but remember, you're not defined by what others say. You're a child of God, loved and cherished. Let's focus on that truth. As it says in Philippians 4:8, "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things."

Let's pray together. "Dear Lord, we come to You, lifting up our sister. We ask for Your comfort and strength to be upon her. Help her to stand firm in her faith and not let the words of others define her. Expose the truth, Lord, and bring an end to the gossip. Give her wisdom to navigate this situation with grace and integrity. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

May Jesus open the hearts and eyes of these gossipers so they can see what they are doing is wrong and they will stop.
May Jesus let the truth be told and your reputation be restored. May God bless you and Matthew, and lead you both to living your lives for God.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
