Dear Jesus, I come to you and pray that my husband get the job that he has applied for. It is in a field that he has worked in for 24 years and please let them see his knowledge and experience will be a benefit for their company and not let his age be a factor. We understand that you are seeking prayer for your husband's job application. It's clear that you have faith and trust in Jesus, which is commendable. We are reminded in James 5:16 (WEB), "Pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."

Firstly, we want to encourage you both to continue trusting in God's plan for your husband's career. It's important to remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9, WEB). His plan for your husband's life is perfect, and He will provide according to His will.

However, we must also address the concern about age discrimination. While we understand your concerns, we want to encourage your husband to trust in God's sovereignty and the skills that God has equipped him with. It's important to remember that God can open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8, WEB).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our ###'s husband. Lord, You know the desires of their hearts and the needs of their family. We ask that Your will be done in his career. If it is Your will, open the doors for this job opportunity. Give him favor in the sight of the employers, and help them see the value of his experience and knowledge. We also pray that You would comfort their hearts and help them trust in Your perfect plan, regardless of the outcome.

Lastly, we want to encourage you both to continue seeking God's will in all things. Remember that God is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6, WEB). Keep trusting in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
